Basic Information for Your Registration

  1. Internet Explorer and Firefox work best for the Registration form.
  2. SAFARI is NOT supported by the Registration Form at this time.
  3. Please note: Do not register more than one time. If you have changes that need to be made after your registration, contact the Registrar, registration08@comcast.net.
  4. Note: It is important to register early if you wish to attend any extended sessions. These will fill quickly.
  5. Read the Fee schedule and Tips for a Successful Registration below to prepare for your online registration.

Tips for your Successful Registration
Note: you may want to print these tips for easy reference during the registration process. Preparation in advance will help you complete the process easily.

  1. Note: Do not register more than one time.
    - Complete all screens of the registration process and click "Submit".
    - Registration is complete when you see a Confirmation on the screen.
    - Print Confirmation for your records.
    - If you have changes that need to be made after your registration, contact the Registrar,
    registration08@comcast.net.

  2. Each Individual Must Register Separately.
    - Even if your district is sending one check for multiple registrants, you must register individually.
    - If you are part of a district purchase order, please refer to the District Purchase Order Tips below.
    This will help you complete your registration without problems.

  3. Meal Information: Select your meals from the Meal Functions page. Meals are optional, and are not included in conference and extended session registration fees. Select any or all meals you wish to attend - they are a wonderful networking place for professionals.

  4. Membership: Be sure your membership is current. Non-members pay an additional $50 fee to register. The current organization membership directory or membership chair is your guide: OASL or WLMA.

    Membership Renewal is separate from conference registration this year. You can log onto Memberclicks from the OASL or WLMA Web pages to renew or begin a membership.


  5. Concurrent Sessions: View the variety of concurrent sessions for the days you are interested in. If you choose to attend the Saturday Extended Session (half day), you will not be able to attend concurrent sessions that day. Please pay the Friday only price for the conference. View schedule.

  6. Extended Sessions: Select your Extended Session from the Extended Sessions Page if desired. Note: If you choose to attend the Saturday extended session, you will not be able to attend concurrent sessions that day. Please pay the Friday only price for the conference. View schedule.

  7. Early Bird registration is available for all payments that arrive by August 1st.

  8. Payment methods include: "Credit Card", and "Send Check". (Checks must arrive before August 1st to qualify for Early Bird discount.

  9. District Purchase Order Tips:

    - All requests for P.O. billing must be received by September 30.

    - There is a $10 fee for each Purchase Order. If multiple registrants from the district have the same PO., and all confirmations for those registrants is sent in with the PO, there is one $10 charge.

    - If you are part of a group purchase order, please specify a district email address when asked for your email address. This is where the confirmation will be sent. Your district must print a copy of this confirmation, and include all confirmations with their check for payment. You will print your own confirmation for your records at the time you register.

    - Register online, fill out the P.O. information completely, then click
    "Send Check"

    - Send Purchase Order, with all confirmations attached for each registrant covered by the PO, to:

  10. Problems: If you have questions or problems with your registration, please email conference registrar, JoAnn Klassen (registration08@comcast.net).

  11. Meal Refunds: There are no meal refunds after October 3 (beginning October 4 (00:00 a.m.). Check the Meal Functions Page for more information and prices.

  12. Late Fee: Beginning October 4 (00:00 a.m.), a $50 late fee will be automatically added to your registration.

  13. Cancellation Fee: A 5% transaction fee will be charged for cancellation before October 4. Beginning October 4 (00:00 a.m.), there will be a $50 cancellation fee.

Continuing Education Credit or Clock Hours

Antioch University and Portland State University will provide credit or clock hours for Washington and Oregon registrants.

Portland State University Requirements:

Continuing education credits will be available through Portland State University.

Sign up with Ruth Murray at the Portland State University table which will be near the registration area. You will need to write a short paper on the session that had the most influence on you or taught you the most.

Credit: You must attend concurrent sessions all day Friday and at least 2 Extended sessions (Thursday or Saturday a.m.) in order to apply for credit.

Registration for credit can only be done at the conference; no late registration is accepted. You will need a check for $60 or you can use VISA or MC. You may apply for graduate or under graduate credit, and either pass/no pass or letter grade. Questions – contact Ruth at murrayr@pdx.edu

Antioch University Requirements:

Antioch credit and/or clock hours information is available here as a word document or a pdf document .

One Credit: Sign in each day. Attend 7.5 hours of sessions or major speaker event, or exhibits. Keep written log. Write 2-3 page paper. Submit notes electronically.

Two Credits: Sign in each day. Attend 15 or more hours of sessions, major speaker events or exhibits. Keep a log with brief notes. Write a 2-3 page paper. Create 2 lessons plans.

Sarah Applegate will be the instructor for your credit and/or clock hours in Washington. Please read the document carefully, and be prepared to register for your college credit.
